Isla Grande

Panama is a magnet for surfer hippies because they can have their pick of oceans depending on where the waves are best that day. Isla Grande is a little island in the Caribbean about three hours from Panama City. At 3:45am someone commented that the waves would be good there today, and by 7am, Baker, Pono, Seana and I were on our way. The guys surfed while Seana and I hung out on the beach and in a flippin sweet pool which practically hangs out over the water. It was an awesome spontaneous adventure.

January's almost gone already?

Last night we went out to a club called s6is (like seis, get it?) for my new neighbor Travis's birthday. There's a lot of new faces on our street this semester and we are definitely missing some people from fall.

Pono avidly reads this so I had to put this one in ha Meet my new neighbor Carlos
I have so much free time on my hands with my schedule, so I am redecorating my room. There will be pictures if I ever finish. I can't believe I only have one more week of school before Spring Break and I still have no plans for Carnaval. Ahhh social crunch time?

Back in Panama

California was nice for the holidays but I was definitely ready to get back here. This semester I'm taking Calculus II, Reasoning & Critical Thinking, Microeconomics, Gender & Religion, and Comparative Government & Politics. The classes are good, all on Tuesday/Thursday so I have tons of free time.

Somehow I haven't taken any pictures yet this semester, except this one.
